Former Federal Prosecutor Joins Murphy & McGonigle
Murphy & McGonigle, P.C. announced today that Steven D. Feldman has joined the firm as a shareholder in its New York office. Mr. Feldman’s arrival is yet another milestone for this financial services law firm as it continues to attract top litigation and regulatory talent since first opening its doors in 2010.
“Steve will further enhance the capabilities of our White Collar team,” said James Murphy, Chairman of Murphy & McGonigle. “Steve provides clients with a unique perspective, combining his law firm experience with six years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan, with four years in the securities and commodities fraud task force,” continued Murphy.
Mr. Feldman brings his experience representing companies and individuals accused of business crimes, public corruption, securities law violations and fraudulent practices by the U.S. Attorney's Office, State Attorney General, District Attorney, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Skilled as both a defense attorney and a prosecutor, Mr. Feldman has extensive experience in public corruption prosecutions, business crime matters, art and cultural object related crimes, health care fraud cases, and cases arising under the federal securities laws.
