Murphy & McGonigle's New York office participates annually in the DAILY NEWS FOOD DRIVE and their efforts have grown by leaps and bounds. In 2012, they collected 125 lbs of food. In 2013, their haul rose to 175 lbs. In 2013, they gained momentum with 550 lbs. By 2015 and 2016, they really started chugging with 1,000 lbs and 1,272 lbs, respectively.
Help City Harvest and the Daily News collect non-perishable food to keep shelves stocked at 500 soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the city. Running a food drive helps City Harvest provide good food during the holiday season when so many of our neighbors struggle to put food on their tables regularly.
