Mr. Machcinski joined Murphy & McGonigle after nine years at Krebsbach & Snyder in New York City, the last six as a member of the firm.  His practice there concentrated on securities and employment arbitration, regulatory and enforcement inquiries and proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the SEC, and state securities regulators, securities litigation in the federal and state courts, appeals, mediation and dispute avoidance, and representing clients through every stage of a proceeding including arbitration hearing, enforcement hearing, trial and appeal.  

Prior to joining Krebsbach & Snyder in 2003, Mr. Machcinski was a Director and Senior Litigation Attorney at Citigroup Global Markets Inc.  During his 13 years at Citigroup and its prior incarnations, including Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc. (1990-1993), Smith Barney Shearson (1993-1994), Smith Barney Inc. (1994-1998), and Salomon Smith Barney Inc. (August 1998-April 2003), Mr. Machcinski had broad based experience in broker-dealer litigation, arbitration and mediation proceedings.  He handled over 250 cases in arbitration, mediation and federal and state courts for the firm and its employees, and tried through Award approximately 100 arbitrations before the NASD and NYSE.  He also conducted internal investigations, provided advisory services, and represented the firm and its employees in regulatory inquiries, investigations, and enforcement proceedings before the NASD, NYSE and state securities commissions.  Previously, Mr. Machcinski was a litigation associate with Olwine, Connelly, Chase, O’Donnell & Weyher in New York City from 1978-1990, where he had a broad range of commercial litigation experience including securities fraud, securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, antitrust, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, RICO, environmental, contract and tort litigation in federal and state courts as well as arbitration.
