Lindi Beaudreault serves as trusted counsel to investment advisers, hedge funds, private equity funds and other financial serves firms. In her advisory practice, Ms. Beaudreault brings business savvy and her background as former SEC enforcement counsel to bear to head off potential trouble with regulators while helping clients succeed in their business. Ms. Beaudreault conducts compliance reviews, risk assessments, acquisition due diligence, compliance training, drafts regulatory filings, compliance manuals, marketing documents, negotiates agreements, and assists firms with responses to examinations by the SEC and FINRA.
Ms. Beaudreault, who served as senior counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, also defends corporate and individual clients in SEC Enforcement investigations and proceedings. Expert in the nuances of the securities laws, functioning of financial services businesses and regulatory priorities, Ms. Beaudreault guides her clients through challenging cases in a manner designed to achieve success for the client and peace with their regulator.
Prior to joining Murphy & McGonigle as a shareholder in 2013, and following her tenure at the SEC, Ms. Beaudreault served as counsel at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York, and as Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America.
Ms. Beaudreault is an avid runner and Boston Marathon qualifier who currently specializes in the 50 mile ultramarathon distance.
